Terms of Use

podshot enables users to:

• Capture podcast moments via manual timestamping or screenshot features,
• Generate AI-powered summaries and notes,
• Organize and revisit saved podcast insights,
• Access publicly available podcast content via RSS.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

podshot does not host, store, or permanently reproduce full podcast episodes. Instead, the app accesses publicly available RSS feeds at the user's request.

You may:

• Use podshot to access and summarize episodes for personal learning,
• Share your own notes or podshots with others.

You may not:

• Use summaries or podcast excerpts for commercial purposes without proper licensing,
• Distribute transformed content unless permitted by the original podcast owner.

We do not monetize summarized podcast content unless:

• The original podcast creator has opted in,
• A valid license agreement is in place.

If you are a podcast creator and would like to opt in, request attribution, or remove your content, email us at tech@podshot.ai.

All trademarks, branding, UI/UX, AI-generated processes, and podshot-created materials (excluding podcast content and user-generated content) are the property of podshot, LLC.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse podshot assets without written permission.

You are responsible for any notes, summaries, or media you create within the app.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on third-party rights,
• Abuse AI features to generate infringing or harmful content.

podshot does not claim ownership of your content but may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.

podshot offers both a Free Plan and a Premium Subscription with additional features.

• Premium plans are billed via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
• We do not store or access your payment information. Refunds and billing questions must be directed to the app store provider.

podshot integrates with podcast directories, analytics, and transcription APIs. These services are governed by their own terms.

We comply with all API usage restrictions and do not republish or redistribute third-party content beyond what is allowed.

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using podshot, you consent to our data practices, including:

• Collecting usage data to improve the app,
• Using AI to generate summaries (without training the model on your data),
• Respecting your rights to access, delete, or export your information.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to comply with legal obligations.

Upon termination, your license is revoked and access to podshot is discontinued.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy, or results. We expressly disclaim:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose,
• Any liability for podcast content accessed through the app.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, podshot, LLC shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
• Loss of data, revenue, or goodwill,
• Claims arising from third-party podcast content or app malfunctions.
