- Profile Info: Optional username or display name, profile image.

- App usage metrics: interactions, screens viewed, timestamps, podshot actions.
- Session logs, crash reports, feature performance (via Firebase, Crashlytics).
- AI interaction logs (non-identifiable, used for debugging/improvement only).
Content You Generate
- Screenshots or timestamps you capture.
- AI-generated summaries and personal notes.
- Tags, folders, or metadata you create to organize content.
Device & Technical Information
- Device type, OS, app version, language preferences.
- IP address, rough geolocation (for performance tuning, not stored permanently).
- Push token for notifications (if enabled).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the functionality of podshot.
- Generate and store personalized summaries and podshots.
- Sync your content across devices.
- Send service updates, account-related notifications, or requested communications.
- Detect misuse or security threats.
- Comply with legal obligations and industry standards.
We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. AI-generated summaries are computed using licensed APIs and are stored solely for your use.

4. Third-Party Podcast Content
We do not host or modify podcast audio. The app accesses third-party podcast RSS feeds on your behalf for personal use only.
AI summaries or notes generated from podcasts:
- Are not monetized without creator consent.
- Are for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Are not shared or republished unless you do so intentionally (e.g., sharing your podshot).
We comply with podcast directory terms of service and API limitations.
5. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us at tech@podshot.ai, and we will delete it promptly.
6. Security & Data Retention
- Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using modern cryptographic standards.
- We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the app or by contacting us.
